ZAKOI Fundraiser for our Prayer Hall
Hello Friends!
We hope you have been well. I’m coming back to you once again seeking your help as we are continuing our final mile fundraising efforts to raise crucial funds needed to complete our Prayer Hall’s construction in the building we purchased last year, which we are now converting into our ZAKOI Dar-e-Mehr and Center. Please see these PICTURES that will tell you our story. We have the drawings ready, prepared by our Zoroastrian architect, Cyrus Rivetna, and also have a local contractor ready to begin work on this project, but we don’t have all the funds we need to move on. Out of the $775K we need, we have raised $600K. We are still working to raise the remaining $175K to be able to complete this task of turning this church building into our ZAKOI Dar-e-Mehr and Center. We appeal to you to please help us make this happen for our community.

We are a Zoroastrian house of worship spanning the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. Members of our congregation come from across these three states for worship services at our Dar-e-Mehr. We strive to spread love, peace, and brotherhood of mankind in our world through our joint practice of Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds. We value friendship and community, and we hope to share the peaceful teachings of our Prophet Zarathustra with younger generations and people of all backgrounds to promote peace, unity, and equity among all humankind.

Every year the Desai family hosts a Zoroastrian Youth Camp. Kids from our own community and other Zoroastrian communities around the country attend the camp. These kids spend a week together learning about our religion, enjoying social activities, and forming lifelong friendships with their fellow Zoroastrians. Our Fundraisers
For many years ZAKOI has been working hard to raise money to build our own community worship center. After almost 15 years of hard work, we are finally able to have our own place of worship! We want to renovate a portion of our house of worship to build our Prayer Hall, for which we will continue fundraising. Your kindness and support will make it possible for us to finally open the doors of our Prayer Hall!
